Balaramapuram
Balaramapuram is a town situated 13 km south of Thiruvananthapuram, towards
Kanyakumari on National Highway 47. This town is famous for its hand-spun
fabrics and skilled artisans who produce them. Weaving is a cottage industry
here with cooperative activity. Balaramapuram handloom sarees are known for
their simplicity and beautiful design. The kasavu sarees are made by expert
weavers from Balaramapuram.
Balaramapuram is considered as the second market hub of Thiruvananthapuram,
the first being Chalai Market in Trivandrum city.

Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvanathapuram (Trivandrum), the capital of the state of Kerala, is a

Trivandrum International Airport is your gateway to Kerala. Located just outside the city,
