Balaramapuram 

Balaramapuram is a town situated 13 km south of Thiruvananthapuram, towards Kanyakumari on National Highway 47. This town is famous for its hand-spun fabrics and skilled artisans who produce them. Weaving is a cottage industry here with cooperative activity. Balaramapuram handloom sarees are known for their simplicity and beautiful design. The kasavu sarees are made by expert weavers from Balaramapuram.  

Balaramapuram is considered as the second market hub of Thiruvananthapuram, the first being Chalai Market in Trivandrum city.

Vizhinjam

Vizhinjam is a coastal Town in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala state, South India. Kovalam
Kovalam, one of India's internationally renowned beaches, in the God's own country.  It is located around 16 km outside Thiruvananthapuram City. Kovalam consists of three successive crescent beaches. Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvanathapuram (Trivandrum), the capital of the state of Kerala, is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The city gets its name from the word, Thiru-anantha-puram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the sacred Serpent Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu trinity, reclines.

Trivandrum International Airport
is your gateway to Kerala. Located just outside the city, and close to the Shankumugham beach, this bustling airport with limited facilities, it caters to over 40 international and national flights and over a thousand passengers’ everyday. 

The airport was established in 1932 as part of the Kerala Flying Club. In January 1, 1991 it was upgraded to an international airport, making it the first such airport in India outside the metropolitan cities.
